Match Report:
Toulouse went over the line in the 4th minute Mathieu Giffi, and with a successful conversion from Nathan Wynn brought the score to 0-6.
The Vikings hit back in the 7th minute when Ben Davies went into the corner, and with a successful conversion from Shane Grady at the scores even at 6-6.
In the 10th minute Toulouse Oympique scored again, this time form Vincent Duport after a kick was put in, and following Nathan Wynn’s successful conversion brought them back into the lead at 6-12.
After a pass from Anthony Thackery to Matt Strong for him to score for the Widnes Vikings in 17th minute, and with a successful conversion from Shane Grady put the Vikings at 12-12.
Nathan Wynn scored from the away side in the 28th minute, and after a successful conversion to convert this own try, Nathan Wynn kicked just in front of the sticks to put the score to 12-18. Vincent Duport scored for the second time for Toulouse in the 33rd minute, and after another successful conversion from Nathan Wynn. In the 37th minute the French side scored again, and after a successful conversion from the touch line from Nathan Wynn, put the score at 12-30.
Half Time (12-30)
In the 48th minute, yet again Vincent Duport scored for Toulouse Olympique, Nathan Wynn made the conversion successful to get the score at 12-36. Followed in the 55th minute by Nathan Wynn scoring again for the French side, and with converting his own try put the score at 12-42.
In the 57th minute, the Vikings hit back when Paddy Flynn went in at the corner after a pass from Toa Kohe Love, sadly Shane Grady missed the conversion and put the score at 16-42.
In the 63rd minute Anthony Thackery pushed his way over the line for the Widnes Vikings, and with Shane Grady making the conversion successful, this put the score at 22-42.
Anthony Thackery scored again in the 69th minute after making a break and running half the pitch, and with Shane Grady making the conversion successful and with Tomas Coyle scoring for the Vikings in the 76th minute after a drive down field to the try line to put the score at 32-42.
Anthony Thackery scored yet again for the Widnes Vikings in the 78th minute, to make the final score 36-42.
